Our firm provides strategic counsel on a wide variety of regulation matters to leading corporations and major Israeli holding groups. Our legal teams advise companies from various sectors, including the financial sector – banking, insurance, pension, securities; infrastructure sector – energy, transport; and the services sector – food, mail, media and telecommunications; as well as counsel regarding public governance, conflict of interest, and other matters to individuals operating in the public sector.
The significant experience of our attorneys in the field, many of whom previously served in senior regulatory positions in the public sector, alongside our firm’s extensive work relations with the various regulatory authorities, allows the firm to provide clients with comprehensive legal and strategic counsel. Our legal teams offer a broad range of services, from swift solutions to specific matters to devising long term regulatory strategies, as well as forming and actively pursuing various regulatory initiatives from the initial stages of regulation formation. Our attorneys assist clients in painting a broad overview of existing or desired regulatory processes, and advise on the implications of the current regulatory framework upon the clients’ activity, including representing clients’ interests before regulatory authorities from the initial stages of the regulation formation process, as well as tracking legislation proceedings, government decisions, regulatory hearings and early warning regarding proceedings which may affect new or existing clients.
In addition, as part of the comprehensive legal services provided to clients by the firm, our legal teams provide ongoing counsel regarding transactions and tenders; provide legal opinions regarding economic regulation for administrative or civil proceedings, including class actions; and represent clients before supervising entities (such as the Defense Ministry, the Transportation Ministry, the Competition Authority, the Electricity Authority, and others) in administrative enforcement proceedings.
The close cooperation between the attorneys specializing in regulation and the rest of the firm’s legal departments allows the firm’s clients, including Israel’s largest companies and leading international corporations, to benefit from swift, dedicated service which is both professional and efficient, based on extensive resources of knowledge, experience and expertise.
