Environmental, Social, and corporate Governance (ESG) issues are now, more than ever, core business priorities for investors, companies and their boards of directors and executive officers. Given the complexity of ESG issues and the pace of regulatory and “best practices” developments, Goldfarb Gross Seligman established a special ESG Taskforce which combines a unique multi-disciplinary team, including among others corporate governance, environmental, labor and litigation specialists, in order to assist our clients to navigate through the various ESG vectors and strategies, while mitigating legal and other risks.
The firm regularly advises boards of directors, executive officers and in-house counsels of both public and private companies on the full range of ESG aspects, drawing on the diverse experience of our dedicated ESG Taskforce. In this capacity, our attorneys provide ongoing counsel to clients regarding ESG aspects of their day-to-day commercial activity, including advice with respect to public ESG reports and ESG aspects of investments and transactions, due diligence and related commitments.
