עו"ד ד"ר דפנה קפליוק מתמחה בבוררויות בינלאומיות ובליטיגציה בינלאומית מורכבת, והיא בעלת מוניטין משמעותי בתחום. היא מייצגת גופים מסחריים מקומיים וזרים בהליכי בוררות המתנהלים בהתאם לכללי מוסדות בוררות בינלאומיים שונים. בשנת 2024 היא מונתה כחברת בית הדין הבינלאומי לבוררות של לשכת המסחר הבינלאומית (ICC International Court of Arbitration) לשנים 2024-2027.
כחוקרת היחידה בישראל בתחום דיני הבוררות המקומית והבינלאומית זה למעלה משני עשורים, פרסומיה האקדמים מצוטטים תדיר על ידי בית המשפט העליון, בתי המשפט המחוזיים ובתי משפט השלום. היא נותנת חוות דעת מומחה בסוגיות מגוונות בקשר עם דיני הבוררות בישראל והיא הוזמנה לדיוני ועדת החוקה חוק ומשפט של הכנסת לקראת התיקונים שנערכו בחוק הבוררות ולקראת חקיקתו של חוק הבוררות המסחרית הבינלאומית.
התמחות נוספת של ד"ר קפליוק היא במשפט בינלאומי פרטי, ובסכסוכים מורכבים חוצי גבולות. היא מייצגת לקוחות זרים בבתי משפט בישראל בין היתר בקשר עם סוגיות הנוגעות לסמכות שיפוט ולאכיפת פסקי דין זרים ופסקי בוררות זרים.
