Adv. Dr. Kapeliuk is a partner in the Commercial and International Litigation Department.

Adv. Dr. Kapeliuk specializes in the field of international and domestic arbitration, and is considered the leading Israeli expert in these fields.

She advises arbitrators, companies and senior business executives with regard to their involvement in international business disputes. Adv. Dr. Kapeliuk's many years of expertise in alternative methods for the resolution of disputes, both as a leading scholar and as a consultant in complex business transactions, enable her to provide unique, far-reaching legal advice to her clients.

Her many years of integrated experience in the fields of private international law and international arbitration are at the disposal of Israeli clients required to conduct international commercial arbitrations, of clients that wish to litigate against foreign entities in Israeli courts, and of foreign clients that wish to avoid litigating in Israel.

Prior to joining our firm, Dr. Kapeliuk was a leading scholar and lecturer in the fields of private international law and domestic and international arbitration. For several years, she has taught courses in her fields of expertise in Israel's leading law faculties, and has published a book as well as numerous articles in major Israeli and American law reviews. Dr. Kapeliuk has published articles in, among others, Tel-Aviv University Law Review (Iyunei Mishpat), Cornell Law Review and Texas Law Review. As the only academic expert on Israeli arbitration law, she was called upon to provide expert opinions in proceedings held in foreign courts.

Adv. Dr. Kapeliuk frequently advises legislators and government bodies on issues concerning arbitration law. She was an Invited Expert to the meetings of the Constitution, Legislation and Law Committee of the Knesset (Israeli Parliament), with respect to a Bill amending the Arbitration Law, and a Bill amending the Courts Law by including a section on mandatory arbitration.
